ЁЯМЯ God Exists and Forever

The Divine Journey of Shivram Joshi Prabhu and the Jagannath Temple in Bidar

ЁЯМЕ The Dream

Six years ago, at the sacred hour of Brahmamurtha (4 a.m.), Jagannath Mahaprabhu appeared before him and revealed that a grand temple would rise in Bidar, destined to become a beacon of devotion for generations. This was not just a thought тАФ it was a calling, a mission that would demand courage, sacrifice, and unshakable belief.

From that moment, Shivram Joshi Prabhu carried the dream in his heart. He knew the journey would be long and filled with obstacles, but he also knew that when God himself plants a vision, it is destined to come true.

ЁЯМН The Struggle & The Eternal Path of Sanatana Dharma

The path was anything but easy. The dream began to take shape during the difficult days of the COVID-19 pandemic. The world was locked down, people were fearful, and resources were scarce. In this atmosphere of uncertainty, Shivram Joshi Prabhu faced intense skepticism, outright rejection, profound loneliness, and crushing financial strains in securing land and materials.

Yet, he never abandoned the vision. He looked back at historyтАФreflecting on how through the early decades and the era of the Mughal world, Sanatana Dharma was always kept on the right path. History has proven that whenever humanity humbles itself and seeks complete Sharanagati (total surrender) to the Almighty, the divine order is restored.

"Abandon all varieties of dharmas and simply surrender unto Me alone. I shall liberate you from all sinful reactions; do not fear." (Bhagavad Gita Chapter 18, Verse 66)

Living by this very word, Shivram Joshi Prabhu believed his endeavor was not his own plan, but Jagannath MahaprabhuтАЩs invitation тАФ a divine mission of absolute surrender that had to be fulfilled.

ЁЯЫХ The Construction & The Financial Challenges

Despite opposition, construction began. With blessings from Jagannath Mahaprabhu, land was secured, rituals were performed, and slowly the structure rose. Each brick laid was a symbol of faith, each wall built a testament to perseverance. As the temple took shape, faith replaced doubt across the community.

However, even after completion, struggles continued. Devotees hesitated to bring Jagannath Mahaprabhu, Lord Baladeva, and Subhadra Maiyya into the temple, fearing the heavy operational upkeep costs: salaries for the pujaris, daily bhog, and prasad offerings totaling nearly тВ╣1тАУ1.2 lakh per month. For three years, this financial burden weighed heavily, but his faith remained unbroken.

ЁЯЫХ The Turning Point & Successful Construction

In 2024, while attending the Puri Rath Yatra, Shivram Joshi Prabhu experienced a moment of absolute clarity. Watching the divine procession, he resolved: тАЬNo matter what struggle I face, no matter how many financial challenges arise, no matter how many people reject this dream тАФ Jagannath Mahaprabhu himself has invited me to fulfill this mission.тАЭ

That year, he decided to bring Jagannath Mahaprabhu, Lord Baladeva, and Subhadra Maiyya to Bidar. The journey flourished year after year through milestones:

  • Historic preparation and successful launch of the initial festival layout.
  • Flourishing celebrations of the Ratha Yatra 2024 in Bidar.
  • Deepening communal harmony during the Ratha Yatra 2025.
  • Active community building for the upcoming Ratha Yatra 2026.

ЁЯФФ The Ongoing Journey

Even after the successful construction, Shivram Joshi Prabhu continues to face daily operational challenges. He has never given up, and he never will. He continues to personally shoulder financial and operational burdens while planning pending construction expansions. His absolute love for the deities and dedication to the people of Bidar remains completely unshaken.

тАЬGod still exists and forever.тАЭ

The journey of Shivram Joshi Prabhu and the Jagannath Temple in Bidar is a living testament that throughout history, from ancient times through turbulent eras, Sanatana Dharma prevails when we walk the path of ultimate devotion. It proves that faith conquers doubt, perseverance overcomes obstacles, and the dream that began six years ago has now become reality through true Sharanagati.
